Watch: Ankita Lokhande Chants ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ On Visit To Lalbaugcha Raja

People from all around the world are immersed in the celebrations of Ganesh Utsav, which began a week back. From welcoming Bappa home to visarjan and pandal hopping, everyone is celebrating the festival with much pomp and zeal. Like many commoners, Tinsel Town celebrities are also queuing up to get a glimpse of some iconic Ganpati idols in Mumbai.

Recently, popular actress Ankita Lokhande and her mother Vandana Lokhande were spotted at Lalbaugcha Raja, a must-visit attraction during this vibrant festival. While the actress looked simply beautiful in a purple and pink saree paired with a matching blouse, her mother opted for a traditional red outfit for their visit. In several paparazzi videos, Ankita was seen in a jolly mood as she touched Bappa’s feet and sought his blessings. She even chanted “Ganpati Bappa Morya” at the top of her voice during her darshan.

The actress welcomed Lord Ganesha to her home. Ankita shared some glimpses of the puja on her Instagram account, which also featured her husband, Vicky Jain, and their newest member of the family, Mau. In another Instagram post, the Pavitra Rishta actress was seen welcoming Goddess Gauri to mark Gauri Ganpati visarja, held on the sixth day of Ganesh Chaturthi festivities. In the pictures, Ankita was dressed in a lilac-blue saree paired with heavy jewellery. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “Celebrating Gauri Ganpati.”

Ankita’s Bigg Boss 17 co-contestants, Abhishek Kumar, Samarth Jurel, Khanzaadi and Ayesha Khan, attended Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at her home. Several pictures and videos of their reunion have gone viral on social media. However, a particular clip has been winning the hearts of people on the internet. In the clip, Ankita, who looked ethereal in a red saree, was seen giving her heartfelt blessings to Abhishek, who opted for an all-black ethnic outfit for the day. The latter then proceeded to touch her feet, showcasing his deep love and respect for the actress.

In another set of pictures, the Bigg Boss 17 co-contestants were seen posing for the camera. All of them, dressed in beautiful ethnic wear, flaunted their brightest smile as they clicked. Ankita’s mother also joined Abhishek, Ayesha, Khanzaadi and Samarth in the frame.

Ankita and her husband, Vicky, currently appear on the comedy reality show Laughter Chefs: Unlimited Entertainment. The actress was recently seen in Randeep Hooda starrer Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.
