Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the biggest festivals in India, is in full swing. In the past few days, devotees have begun welcoming Bappa into their homes, and just like the others, celebrities are also marking the festival with much zeal. Recently, Bigg Boss OTT 3 fame Vishal Pandey shared a video on his Instagram, giving a sneak peek of how he welcomed the beloved God to his home. On Friday, the content creator, who was dressed in a blue kurta, carried Lord Ganesha’s idol in his hands and walked barefoot to his car. His sister also accompanied him and was seen with a “puja ki thali” in her hand. The brother-sister duo chanted “Ganpati Bappa Morya” while carrying the idol to their home. Vishal shared the video with just a folded hand and a red heart emoji.
Vishal’s post received much love from his fans. Meanwhile, his best friend and Bigg Boss OTT 3 winner, Sana Makbul, dropped a love-filled comment on his post. She wrote, “Bappaa,” followed by heart-eye and red heart emojis.
Vishal saw a massive increase in his popularity on social media after his stint in Bigg Boss OTT 3. At present, he has a fanbase of 10.2 million on Instagram. Even though he was evicted from the house just days before the grand finale, he managed to become one of the popular names of the third season of the show. As of now, the digital creator is busy shooting a project with BB OTT 3’s winner. Meanwhile, he was also reportedly approached for a television project.
According to a report by India Forums, Vishal has been approached by Star Plus for a show. If all goes well, the content creator might soon make his acting debut on the small screen. Notably, there are not many details available about the kind of show, its storyline or the production house.
While Bigg Boss OTT 3 was on-air, Vishal became embroiled in a controversy when he remarked, “Bhabhi sundar lagti hai” regarding YouTuber Armaan Malik’s second wife, Kritika Malik. This became one of the most controversial incidents of the last season. After such a remark, Armaan lost his cool and even slapped the digital creator. This incident left the audience divided. While many sided with Vishal, others thought Armaan’s reaction was normal. Armaa’s first wife, Payal Malik, who was eliminated from the show before the incident, made a surprise visit and accused Vishal of passing a derogatory comment about Kritika, which ultimately led to the fight between Armaan and Vishal.
