When it comes to aliens and extraterrestrial creatures, we let our imaginations run wild and hence, coming across any unidentified creature makes us wonder if it is a visitor from outside Earth. A woman walking along a beach in Perth, Australia was shocked to find a creature unknown to the laymen. The thing was as dead as one could be but that did not stop from chaos being unfolded in the neighbourhood.
The woman posted images of the unidentified creature on the social platform Reddit. She described her discovery while walking along the beach, encountering unfamiliar thick white rubbery strands emerging from the sand. Resembling tentacles of jellyfish or something extraterrestrial, these strands were scattered across the beach at Ledge Point, a distance away from Perth. Some of the fibres appeared in clusters, while others were solitary and visible above the sand. Seeking answers, the woman asked the Reddit community what they thought it was and likened the mysterious find to an alien creature.
The replies were wild, some of them even hilarious.
One user speculated that the mysterious strands might have been carried from the Mediterranean Sea during the storm the previous Friday, while another likened them to noodles. Another user suggested that they resembled tree roots and questioned if there were any plants nearby, possibly indicating that the sand had been swept away by the storm. Then, another commenter proposed the possibility of the strands being sea grass. Conversely, someone else theorized that they could be dead seaweed washed ashore, having lost its colour due to prolonged exposure to the sun.
The woman said, ‘Ever since seeing this, I have been trying to gather information about it. I searched a lot of Google images for this and after some of these answers, I have concluded that it is probably a seaweed that has been bleached in the sun since it is not underwater.” However, the mystery related to the truth of this creature is still unsolved.
