Everyone knows the struggle of landing that dream job right out of college. You step into the real world, only to find your paycheck looking more like a reality check. But hey, that’s life, isn’t it? Most employees feel the sting of being underpaid, except for one lucky individual who’s about to work at a Desi momos shop in India. Why lucky, you ask? Because he’s set to pocket a cool Rs. 25,000.

A recent post gaining traction on ‘X’ features a woman with the username @puttuboy25, who shared her astonishment after spotting a job advertisement outside a momos shop in India. The poster, adorned with Hindi script, advertised a job opening for a helper or worker with a salary of Rs. 25,000.

This revelation left her simultaneously shocked and intrigued, prompting her to comment, “Damn this local momo shop is offering a better package than the average college in India these days.”

The post quickly became a hit, triggering a wave of chuckles and witty remarks from netizens. “Applying right now,” joked one eager user, while another chimed in, “+ free momos everyday to eat.” A third curious commenter asked, “India wants to know…….where is it located?” and a fourth added, “Bold of you to assume ki sare colleges me companies ati bhi hai.”

However, some took a more serious tone, pointing out the potential downsides of such a job. “Engineer salary will increase with time…here it wont,” one user explained. Another humorously remarked, “Working hours 11am to 12pm + whole day on feet + no paid holiday + no insurance…average college students can barely study for 3hrs by sitting a place they’ll work for 13hrs.”
