It has been found that the man is 93 years old and has been living with his dog.
According to reports, the name of the man is Pablo Novak, and he belongs to Argentina. Pablo resides in a city named Epecuen, Argentina, which is 400 kilometres away from Buenos Aires. In the year 1985, Epecuen suffered from a huge storm, after which the waves broke a dam and the city remained surrounded by water and swamps for a long time. The city used to be a popular tourist destination once, and around 5,000 people used to live in the city. Since the floods, everyone has left the area.
In 2009, the water level went down and the weather improved. But the whole region had been under ruins. There was debris all around, and the houses were shattered. Later, Pablo returned to live here with his cattle. He made a ruined house his home, which also had a garden outside it. The new house is small and dusty; they have a chair, bundles of newspapers, and live without electricity. He was the only person who returned to the city. Even his family members didn’t join him, and they shifted to another area. Currently, he lives in the ghost city with his cattle and a pet dog.
In an interview, Pablo revealed that he is at a stage of life where he wants to enjoy it, and that is why he lives alone. Reportedly, it is believed that there used to be a pond in the city that had the power to solve skin-related problems.
