Uber Driver Helps 'Drunk' Woman Get Into Her House; Internet Can't Stop Praising Him

The incident unfolded late at night when an Uber driver found himself in a situation that transcended the conventional boundaries of his job. A video circulating on the internet showcased the remarkable act of humanity exhibited by this humble driver, earning him praise and admiration from countless individuals.

The footage reveals the Uber driver standing alongside a visibly intoxicated and cold woman on a front porch, as captured by a resident’s door camera. The context becomes clear as the resident provides instructions to the driver, guiding him on how to locate the key and help the woman gain entry to her house.

The Instagram repost of the video has amassed 6.3 million views and 108,000 likes. While the comment section showered the man with praise for his kindness, a note of caution echoed through the responses, emphasising the unpredictability of certain situations.

Bhumika recounted receiving inappropriate messages from the Uber driver named Rahul, whom she had recently ridden with. To shed light on the unsettling encounter, she attached screenshots of her conversation with Rahul. In these messages, Rahul asked if she remembered him from her Uber ride and, upon her inquiry about the unsolicited texts, expressed his desire to be friends. To further emphasize his intent, he also sent her a picture of himself.

In her post, Bhumika called on Uber to take “immediate and decisive action” to thoroughly investigate the matter, identify the driver involved, and implement appropriate measures to ensure that such incidents are prevented in the future.
