They recently celebrated their wedding anniversary. The husband’s name is Shaye Scott, and the wife’s name is Amanda Scott. The couple is a resident of St George, Utah, USA. The couple also shared the story on YouTube. According to the video posted online, Shaye and Amanda got married in 2006. In 2012, they had their first child. Two years later in 2014, Amanda gave birth to a boy. The couple had their third child in 2018. After the third child, Shaye felt that something was missing from his life.
Amanda stated that in 2019, Shaye shared the truth and came out as transgender. Amanda added that she felt that there was nothing wrong with being transgender. She added that people often believe that being transgender is a trend now but the truth is that these people have always been with us. “Transgender people are not a problem, rather they are vibrant and wonderful. My journey with Shaye taught me that loving and supporting a trans person makes the world more beautiful to live," Amanda said.
Shaye underwent hormone replacement therapy thereafter. She and Amanda are still very much together. The couple celebrated their 18th anniversary on May 31 this year. Posting about their story on Instagram, Shaye captioned it, “Life is like a box of chocolates" along with a love emoji. The video went viral soon after it was posted garnering over 28.2 million views (approximately 2.8 crore). The post was liked by over 5 lakh users. Thousands of users extended their best wishes to the couple for their lovely chemistry.
