YouTube streamer Darren ‘IShowSpeed’, recognised as a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, went crazy after the Portuguese icon overtook him in terms of subscribers. Ronaldo unveiled his channel, UR Cristiano, on August 21 and it beat Speed’s subscriber count in just 24 hours. Ronaldo, who has shattered many records during his illustrious football career, has been replicating his success on YouTube. He has already clinched the Silver and Golden Play Button and is about to add the Diamond one to his cabinet. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner also became the fastest to reach 10 million followers, achieving the feat in less than 12 hours.
Speed has been a popular face on the YouTube platform for quite some time now. He has already created a lot of content, demonstrating his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo. Speed was sent into a frenzy when he learnt about his idol’s YouTube debut. He shed light on the subscriber growth of Cristiano Ronaldo’s channel during a recent streaming session.
The 19-year-old YouTuber also put forward the number of his own subscribers. As soon as UR Cristiano breached the 28-million mark, Speed dished out the former Real Madrid man’s iconic ‘siuu celebration’. He turned more emphatic once the legendary footballer surpassed his subscriber count. Speed couldn’t control his excitement and jumped straight onto his streaming set-up as his face-cam got toppled.

Cristiano Ronaldo broke the news of his YouTube debut via a social media post. “The wait is over. My YouTube channel is finally here! SIUUUbscribe and join me on this new journey,” the 39-year-old shared on X.
IShowSpeed was quick to respond to the post and urged Ronaldo to collaborate with him. “Can we collab now bro? Good luck with your YT channel. Lots of love,” he commented.

Cristiano Ronaldo has already shared a few videos with his partner Georgina Rodriguez. The couple first sat together for a Q&A session– “Discover Everything about us.” The next video was about “Real Cristiano and Georgina.”
The Al-Nassr captain also created content with his kids after receiving the YouTube Golden Play Button which had the title – “The golden button for my golden kids.” The channel, UR Cristiano, has so far crossed 30 million subscribers.
