Land Rover has opened bookings for the 2016 Range Rover Evoque in India ahead of its November 2015 launch. The 2016 Range Rover Evoque was showcased at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, and has been given a facelift and new engines as part of the upgrade.
On the outside, the new Evoque gets a refreshed front end featuring a new grille, a new bumper with large air dams and bonnet scoops in the five-door HSE Dynamic and Autobiography variants.
The updates at the rear include a new spoiler and roof fins with a 3G antenna for better mobile reception. The interior gets an 8-inch infotainment unit with an Incontrol Touch system that allows users to swipe between screens like in a smartphone.
The 2016 Range Rover Evoque will use the company’s new all-aluminium Ingenium TD4 diesel engine that will be available in two states of tune — 150PS and 180PS. The other engine that will be available on the 2016 Range Rover Evoque is a 240PS Si4 petrol mill that gives the car a claimed 0-100kmph time of 7.6 seconds.
The new Range Rover Evoque will also get the All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) seen in the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models, along with safety features like Lane Keeping Assist, Attention Assist and Autonomous Emergency Braking.
