2018 Ford EcoSport Storm Officially Unveiled
The new four-wheel drive Ford EcoSport Storm variant is powered by a 2.0-litre flex-fuel engine that produces 1776 hp and churns out 221 Nm of peak torque.

Ford has officially unveiled the Storm variant of its famous compact SUV EcoSport. Although it is part of the EcoSport line, the Storm version has its own personality. The front grille shows aggressiveness and exclusivity. 17-inch wheels, custom hardcover and headlamp with the black mask are also some of the highlights. The storm edition also gets extra body cladding.

The new four-wheel drive Ford EcoSport Storm variant is powered by a 2.0-litre flex-fuel engine that produces 176 hp and churns out 221 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The Storm variant of the compact SUV also gets a new Brown Trancoso body colour along with already existing Arctic White, Silver Dublin and Black Bristol.

Inside the cabin, EcoSport Storm comes with SYNC 3 with a high-resolution 8-inch floating touchscreen and comes with Ebony Black leather seats with Satin Orange stitching and black roof.

In terms of safety, the Ford EcoSport Storm comes with seven airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, traction control, hill-assist, an anti-rollover system parking assist with a reversing camera.

The new variant has been currently launched in Brazil for $99,990 and so far there is no information regarding its launch in India. Keep checking this space for more updates.
