Mahindra recently reached a remarkable milestone as it rolled out its 100,000th unit of the Scorpio N.
Since its launch in June 2022, the Scorpio N has become a popular choice among car enthusiasts, offering a variety of models and engine options.
The Scorpio N lineup boasts six variants: Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, Z8L, and Z8L 6-seater, ensuring there’s something for everyone with prices ranging from Rs. 13.60 lakhs to Rs. 21.97 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Under the hood, the Scorpio N offers two engine options. The first is a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine churning out 200 bhp at 5000 RPM and 380 Nm of torque at 1750-3000 RPM. The second is a 2.2-litre diesel engine delivering 172 bhp at 3500 RPM and 400 Nm of torque at 1750-2750 RPM. Both engines come with a choice of either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
One of its remarkable features is the all-wheel-drive system, combined with Mahindra’s 4xplor terrain management system, offering four terrain modes: Normal, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud/Rut, and Sand.
In terms of sales, Mahindra saw impressive growth in January 2024, selling 43,068 SUVs, marking a significant 31 percent increase from the same period last year. However, exports for January were down to 1746 units compared to the previous year’s figure of 3009 units, as reported by Cartoq.
