The homegrown car maker Mahindra has filed the design patent for its upcoming Thar.e electric, which was showcased in August 2023 as a concept. According to the reports the patent was filed on August 10, giving a hint that the brand expected to launch the vehicle soon. However, the company has not revealed the related details as yet.
As per the leaked images, the electric SUV looks quite similar to the concept design, which was revealed by the company in South Africa during a special event.

From the front, the EV is liekly to get the whole project headlight setup, paired with square-shaped DRLs with a heavy skid plate on the front. The vehicle is also expected to feature the Thar. badging on the front grill, which might enhance its overall road appearance. The boxy and rugged design elements in the electric SUV are expected to attract a lot of customers this time.

Based on the all-new INGLO platform, Thar.e might feature a minimalistic dashboard, paired with an advanced digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system, which will be supported by all car connects technology.

Apart from this, some of the trending features such as dual climate control, wireless charging, 360-degree camera, multi-functional steering wheel, cruise control mode, hill assist, and parking sensors, among others are likely to be included in the vehicle.
Mahindra Thar.e Size
Talking about the size, Thar.e. might offer a 250-300 mm ground clearance with a wheelbase between 2,775 mm to 2,975 mm. The company has not revealed any specification details as yet. However, some reports claim that it might drop soon.
