The leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to give a big boost to its product lineup in India. It has been reported that the company is working on a few electric models, which are likely to hit the market soon.

Reports suggested that the Marut Suzuki has 3 electric models pipelined for upcoming years. These models will be introduced in multiple segments including SUV, hatchback and MPV. In this detailed article, we have listed the upcoming models by Maruti Suzuki, which are expected to arrive in the future.

Maruti Suzuki eVX

As we reported earlier, the company is all set to launch its much-awaited model Maruti Suzuki eVX. The vehicle was already showcased last year during the Auto Expo. Now, it is likely to arrive in early 2025.

If rumours are to be believed, the global debut might take place during the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It is scheduled to take place in January in New Delhi.

The model is already in its testing phase in the country, and has been internally codenamed Suzuki YY8. Once launched, it will compete against the upcoming Curvv EV and Hyundai Creta EV.

Maruti Suzuki eWX

This model will fall in the hatchback category, and is expected to be one of the most affordable EVs in the company’s entire lineup. The vehicle was showcased during the Japan Mobility Show. It was then seen featuring a futuristic style statement, flaunting an impressive front fascia with a rectangular DRL trip, covering all the front borders.

The report says the vehicle will be expected to be equipped with cutting-edge technology and advanced features such fully digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, an impressive infotainment system with all the wireless car connect technology, and automatic climate control among others.

The production model will underpinned by a bespoke K-EV platform. It is liekly to hit the market somewhere in the mid of 2026 or the start of 2027. Once launched eWX will compete against Tata’s hot-selling models Tiago EV and Punch EV.

Electric MPV

Last but certainly not least, the upcoming electric MPV, which reportedly has been codenamed YMC. The model will be based on BEV platform and is anticipated to be revealed officially by September 2026. It is expected to be offered with different seating configurations, and will offer customers to choose variants as per their needs.
