The car comes with a host of new features which include a Telematics infotainment system with a larger 8-inch high-resolution screen.

On the occasion of the global sales anniversary of its most successful car, the E-Class, Mercedes-Benz has introduced the 2016 E-Class in India at a starting price of Rs 48.50 lakh ex-Delhi.

The car comes with a host of new features which include a Telematics infotainment system with a larger 8-inch high-resolution screen. The infotainment system also supports the optional Garmin Map Pilot navigation system which features 3D terrain, building and landmark view and 360 degree rotation function – this can be selected over the standard features. A reverse camera, though, comes as standard.

Speaking about the new 2016 E-Class, Eberhard Kern, managing director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, "The E-Class remains our highest selling luxury sedan in India and with the introduction of the refreshed 2016 E-Class, we offer our discerning customers additional value in form of enhanced equipment.
