In order to attract a mass target audience, and provide a better e-scooter riding expirence, the leading two-wheeler maker Bajaj is soon to drop the updated version of Chetak. The reports surfaced on the internet at a time when the brand is gaining appreciation for the newly launched Bajaj Chetak Urbane.
It has been reported that the company is likely to introduce a larger battery pack in the Premium variant, providing extra range to the customers. However, the official details about the same are yet to be confirmed by the brand.
Upcoming Bajaj Chetak Premium Battery
The report says the Chetak Premium will feature a powerful 3.2 kWh battery pack, replacing the 2.88 kWh one. The upcoming unit will treat customers with a better range, and might provide IDC’s claimed range of 127 km. Customers will be able to charge the vehicle from 0 to 100 percent in 4 hours 30 minutes.
Upcoming Bajaj Chetak Premium Speed
Some reports also have revealed that the upcoming updated scooter will have a higher top speed. The throttle can be pushed up to 73 km/h. As far as the other notable features are concerned, the Chetak Premium will be equipped with a Bluetooth-enabled TFT dash, providing all the e-scooter-related information to the rider.

To make it more easy, it will also offer turn-by-turn navigation, helping the customers on every turn. Apart from this, some trending features will also be carried forward such as remote lock/unlock system tire pressure monitoring, speed limit sensor, and stylish alloy wheels among others.
When it comes to the storage capacity, reports said the under-seat compartment will take a load of up to 21 litres. As of now, it only offers a max storage of 18 litres.
