Actor Darshan Shares New Poster Of His Upcoming Film Kaatera On Diwali

Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, also known as the Challenging star Darshan, is all set to rule the screens with his next in the movie Kaatera. It is touted to be a real-life story, set against the backdrop of a village. Darshan amped up the fervour around this film by unveiling a special poster on Diwali. The poster shows Darshan donning a traditional red ensemble. He has paired it with colour-coordinated footwear. He wrote in the caption, “May this Diwali fill your life with light of happiness. May this festival bring happiness, prosperity, peace and tranquillity. Happy Diwali to you and your family.” The text, “Audio soon …” can also be seen in the poster. It indicates that the film’s audio will be launched soon as well.

Fans also wished Darshan on Diwali.

Kaatera’s director Tharun Sudhir and producer Rockline Venkatesh shared some details regarding the film with News 18 Kannada Digital earlier. They said that Darshan’s character in Kaatera is going to be entirely different from the films he has acted in before. Tharun also said that Darshan will be seen in a very different look, which will match the rural backdrop of Kaatera. According to him, the biggest plus of this film is the real-life incidents on which it is based.

Tharun was also asked whether there will be fight scenes in Kaatera, like in Darshan’s earlier films. He said that there would be no such separate focus on the action sequences. Tharun opined that the plot of Kaatera is so engaging, that there was no particular need to include any special fight sequences.

Tharun also revealed that he plans to release Kaatera in the cinema halls by the end of this year. According to him, the shooting of this movie is proceeding at a brisk phase. He also shared his opinion about the debutante actress Radhana Ram. Tharun added that Radhana was roped in for a role because she fits the bill perfectly. Rockline Venkatesh also shared his opinions regarding Radhana and said that she was selected only after successfully completing the audition process. He said that any actor who wishes to be a part of his project has to prove themselves worthy of the role by showcasing their acting skills in the audition.

Kaatera courted controversy earlier after Tharun unveiled its poster.

Some users pointed out that there were similarities between this and Dhanush-starrer Karnan’s poster.
