The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru Police has reportedly sent a notice to eight people, including Telugu actress Hema to attend a hearing. This is regarding the rave Party that was held at Farm House in Electronic city. Out of 101 people who participated in the rave party, the report of 86 people came positive. It is also suspected that eight people, including actress Hema, were peddling drugs. These eight people are suspected of bringing drugs in large quantities. CCB has given notice to eight people to appear in person. CCB will also issue notices to more people. In Andhra, there is a possibility of giving notice to the children of some politicians.
The medical examination reportedly confirmed that Hema had consumed MDMA, so the police have prepared to file a case against Hema under the NDPS Act. The CCB further said that if the said persons fail to make an appearance, notices would be served again.
Actress Hema released a video earlier, saying that she was not at the party. She said, “I have not gone anywhere, I was enjoying and chilling at a farmhouse in Hyderabad. Please don’t believe rumours. I don’t know who’s there, it’s fake news that I was at the party.”
At a recent rave party on the outskirts of Bangalore, 86 people were confirmed to have taken drugs. The attack has sparked controversy due to reports confirming heavy drug use among those present. 73 men and 30 women, including two Telugu actors, attended the rave party raided by the anti-narcotics wing of the Karnataka Police earlier this week. Telugu stars Hema and Ashi Roy have tested positive for drugs after their rave party.
The event took place on May 18 from 5 pm to 6 am on May 19, was said to be a birthday party organised by Hyderabad-based person Vasu. According to sources, the party was expected to cost Rs 50 lakh a day. Various types of drugs like MDMA, cocaine, and hydro ganja were also seized from the party.
