India will aim to enter the semi-final round with another win in their kitty as they face the Netherlands on Sunday, November 12 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Rohit Sharma’s men have not conceded a defeat yet in the competition and it looks highly unlikely for the Dutch side to stop Team India’s juggernaut on Sunday.
India are currently enjoying a sensational eight-game unbeaten run at the World Cup 2023. The hosts will head into Sunday’s game having won their last match against South Africa in a resounding fashion.
The Netherlands, on the other hand, will aim to beat India in order to keep their chances of qualifying for the Champions Trophy alive. The Dutch cricket team are currently struggling at the bottom of the World Cup points table. The Scott Edwards-led side have so far managed to win on two occasions in the competition.
Head-to-head records
In ODIs, the two sides have faced each other twice and India have emerged victorious on those two occasions. In their first ODI meeting, India had clinched a 68-run victory in 2003. The two teams last met in ODIs in March 2011 and India secured a five-wicket win in that match.
