Saif Ali Khan CONFIRMS Undergoing Surgery for Tricep Injury, Says 'Part of Wear and Tear of...'
Saif Ali Khan recently opened up about his surgery for tricep injury.

Earlier this morning, Saif Ali Khan was hospitalized for undergoing surgery. The actor was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital. Now the actor opened up about his injury and also thanked fans for their well wishes and concerns.

Saif Ali Khan recently underwent tricep surgery for an old injury that got triggered while performing an action sequence for his latest movie. He is now well on his way to making a speedy recovery. Speaking about the same, the actor shared, “This injury and the surgery that followed are part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well wishers for their love and concern.”

Reportedly, Saif’s wife, Kareena, was also at the hospital to be alongside him.

Last month, Saif appeared on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan season 8, when the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director asked Saif to reveal how Kareena has influenced him. Taking a moment to ponder, the Vikram Vedha actor responded with admiration, stating, “I think in terms of time management, health, exercise, routine, discipline, and patience. Phenomenal things.”

Saif and Kareena got married in October 2012.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Saif Ali Khan will be seen in Devara. In his first Telugu film, Saif will be seen sharing the screen with Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. The first glimpse of the film was released on Monday.

Devara is set against the coastal lands and is helmed by Koratala Siva. Just like RRR, this Telugu movie will reportedly have high-octane action sequences that are expected to blow away the minds of the audience. As per reports, Devara is being made on a huge budget. The makers are reportedly spending a whopping Rs 140 crore on its VFX. The rumor mill is rife that the makers are also spending 33 percent of the movie’s original budget on special effects.
