IT major HCL Technologies on Monday declared an interim dividend of Rs 12 per equity share for the financial year 2024-25. The company has fixed October 22 as the record date and October 30 as the payment date.
“The board of directors has declared an interim dividend of Rs 12 per equity share of Rs 2 each of the company for the financial year 2024-25. The record date of October 22, 2024, fixed for the payment of the aforesaid interim dividend has been confirmed by the board of directors. The payment date of the said interim dividend shall be October 30, 2024,” HCL Technologies said in a BSE filing.
With the latest interim dividend, the total interim dividend for the fiscal year now stands at Rs 42 per share. Earlier, HCL Tech had given an interim dividend of Rs 18 per share in May, and Rs 12 per share in July.
Meanwhile, the IT major on Monday reported a 11 per cent rise year-on-year in its net profit to Rs 4,235 crore, beating Street expectations, for the second quarter of FY25. The revenue from operations for India’s third-largest IT major during July-September 2024 rose 8.2 per cent to Rs 28,862 crore.
On a quarter-on-quarter basis, HCL Tech’s net profit slipeed by a marginal 0.5 per cent. However, its revenue grew about 3 per cent.
