Ananya Panday has always managed to captivate hearts with her effortless style and charisma. Recently, the young star was in Chennai for the Humanitarian Awards, where she captivated everyone with her elegant choice of attire and understated glamour. Ananya shared glimpses of her appearance on Instagram, and it’s safe to say that she left us all spellbound. In the photos, the actress looks stunning as she poses gracefully next to her hotel room’s window, radiating elegance and confidence.
Alongside the photos, Ananya expressed her gratitude in the caption, “Honoured to be at the ‘Humanitarian Awards’ here in Chennai that recognises the tireless efforts of grassroots level social activists working towards the noble cause of child rights and the prevention of child sexual abuse. And many who ensure children go on a lifelong journey of care, comfort and further education post-traumatic situations.”
For the event, Ananya opted for a radiant yellow saree crafted by fashion designer Anushka Khanna. The saree showcased exquisite golden-silver gota patti embroidery and sequin diamantes along the border. She traditionally draped her six yards, allowing the pallu to fall gracefully. Her ensemble was further enhanced by a sleeveless blouse adorned with intricate beaded embroidery and a flattering square neckline.
She accessorised her outfit with a gold Jadau choker necklace from Paksha by Tarinika and earrings and bangles from TAD by Ameesha Dalmia. The credit for her stunning appearance goes to celebrity stylist Tanya Ghavri, with assistance from Esther Pinto. When it came to makeup, her makeup artist opted for a subtle approach, allowing her natural beauty to shine through. She rounded off her look with a sleek low bun adorned with white roses.
Her look serves as a perfect inspiration for brides-to-be, especially for their Haldi ceremony, or even for those looking for exquisite attire for a daytime function including the spring season.
This isn’t the first time the actress has stunned in a saree ensemble. Previously, for the wedding of Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, Ananya chose a mesmerising sequined saree by designer Arpita Mehta. The saree featured intricate gold mirror work and sequins adorning the borders, with delicate cut dana work hand-embroidered throughout. Adding a contemporary flair, the saree boasted layered frills along the bottom, imparting a modern touch. Completing the look was a sequined blouse with thin straps and a stylish back design.
She complemented the ensemble with delicate earrings and a bracelet on one hand. Her makeup, as always, was subtle, enhancing her natural beauty.
