Ways to Get Truffle Worms
Coral Geodes The best way to get Truffle Worms is by opening Coral Geodes. Coral Geodes can be found in the Desolate Deep and the Brine Pool. They're relatively easy to catch, but you can also purchase them in the Desolate Pocket for 600C$ each. If you want to fish up Coral Geodes, use the Magnet Rod with the Magnet bait. This will greatly increase your chances of catching non-fish items.
Volcanic Geodes Volcanic Geodes are another way to get Truffle Worms. These Geodes can be found in Roslit Volcano, or you can purchase them from the Travelling Merchant on Sunstone Island for 600C$. The difference between Coral Geodes and Volcanic Geodes is that the Travelling Merchant doesn't always have Volcanic Geodes in stock. Just like Coral Geodes, you can fish up Volcanic Geodes using Magnet bait. However, you should use the Reinforced Rod, Magma Rod, or a rod with the Invincible enchantment since you must fish for them inside the volcano.
Treasure Chests Treasure Chests have a low chance of giving Truffle Worms when opened. To get a Treasure Chest, you must first fish up a Treasure Map. You must then bring the map to Jack Marrow, who will repair the map for 250C$. You can then use your GPS coordinates to find the Treasure Chest and open it. Treasure Maps can be found anywhere on the map. You can increase your chances of fishing one up by using the Sunken Rod. Jack Marrow is an NPC found inside the Eye of the Skull on Forsaken Shores. He looks like a typical pirate with a black beard and a white skull on his hat. Treasure Maps have a 6.3% chance of giving 6 Truffle Worms when opened.
Angler NPC Quests After completing 50 or more Angler Quests, the Angler NPC has a chance to give Truffle Worms as a reward. The Angler can be found on Moosewood, Sunstone Island, Terrapin Island, Roslit Bay, The Depths, and Ancient Isle. He will ask you to bring him a variety of different fish to complete his quests.
Code redemption Every once in a while, there will be redemption codes released that give you Truffle Worms if you input them. To check the current list of available redemption codes, go to the Codes page on the Fisch Wiki. To input a code, open the menu and scroll all the way to the bottom.
Opening eggs If you are the first player to reel in a specific fish during a specific Hunt or Migration event, there's a 5% chance you'll get an egg. These eggs, when opened, have a variety of awards, but each one will give you 5 Truffle Worms. The eggs are as follows: Megalodon Egg: Catch the first Megalodon in a Megalodon Hunt Whale Egg: Catch the first Blue Whale in a Whale Migration Orca Egg: Catch the first Orca in an Orca Migration Kraken Egg: Catch the first Kraken in a Kraken Hunt
