Royal Challengers Bengaluru Virat Kohli sent the crowd into a state of delirium with his 47-run knock against Chennai Super Kings in their final group stage of the Indian Premier League.
Kohli put up a 78-run stand for the opening wicket alongside Faf du Plessis before being scalped by Mitchell Santner, caught by Daryll Mithcell. But the star batter delighted the passionate crowd with his brilliant knock, that included some incredible strokes.
There was one particular instance where Kohli smashed the ball to the roof ofd the Chinnaswamy Stadium off Tushar Deshpande to elicit a spontaneous reaction from partner du Plessis.

Following the dismissal of Kohli, du Plessis went on to make a half century before bein sent back to the hit by Santer, who caught the Protea batter before he could secure his crease in the process of taking a run.
Rajat Patidar and Cameron Green produced attacking partnership to take the score to 183 runs before Patidar was sent back to the dugout for 41 runs.
Chennai Super Kings entered the crucial clash at pole position to reach the playoffs with the fourth position up for grabs. RCB have an outside chance to bump CSK to the coveted spot, however, they need to win the game by 18 runs in order to progress.
