Before the two sides met in Kolkata, a video had gone viral where the UP-based batter was seen asking Kohli for a new bat. He revealed that the bat which was given to him previously had been broken when he played a spinner.
Rinku was also seen going behind Kohli following the game supposedly in an attempt to once again coerce his senior into giving away one of his bats.

Rinku might not be having the best of seasons with the bat, but that is understandable considering his role as the finisher and not having many opportunities to perform with the top-order firing regularly as Phil Salt and Sunil Narine have been in great touch with the bat.

The left-hander, however, has scored 107 runs in just 26 balls through the season, indicating he still has the firepower to score some quick runs but just lacked opportunities to bat.
As far as the game between KKR and RCB is concerned, it was yet another run-scoring affair in the 2024 season of the IPL as the home side went on to set a target of 223 with the skipper Shreyas Iyer top-scoring with 50 in 36 balls.

But despite a quick knock by Karn Sharma scoring 20 in 7 balls, RCB fell short as Mitchell Starc showcased his experience and resilience to take the side home as two wickets fell in the final three balls to give the hosts the win.
RCB however, will look to turn things around once again and get back to winning ways as they take on the dangerous Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
