Arshdeep and Brar’s parents were present at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala to support their sons in a must-win IPL game. While the game might not have gone in their favour, the cricketers’ families still left the venue happy having met with a modern-day batting legend.
Kohli, a former India skipper, displayed wonderful camaraderie as he hugged Arshdeep and Harpreet’s loved ones.
This heart-warming interaction has earned Kohli the love and praise of several fans on social media. One of them talked about how he just couldn’t stop watching the reel. “1 hour and still watching the reel”, he wrote.
One fan stated the obvious. “Such a role model!” read the comment.
A netizen highlighted how the star batter was always fierce on the pitch and calm outside it. “Most humble guy off the field,” he wrote
Another said, “Winning hearts on and off the field. He is the best”.
Kohli was at his usual best against PBKS, putting up a show at Dharamsala. He guided the RCB to their fourth-straight victory in the IPL after scoring 92 runs off just 47 deliveries.
He smashed seven fours and six sixes during his stay to help his side put up 241 on the board. During the run chase, Kohli was also involved in a jaw-dropping run-out via a direct hit. A three-wicket haul from Mohammed Siraj saw RCB curb Punjab to 181 and knock them out from the playoffs race.
