Bihar Government Launches Pahal Initiative To Boost Education In Rural Areas
As per the reports, the aim of this special initiative undertaken by the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education is to guide children.

The teachers appointed by the Bihar Public Service Commission, government engineering colleges and polytechnic colleges will now teach the students studying in government colleges. These teachers will teach Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English to the students. To fulfill this objective, the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education has chalked an action plan under the Pahal Initiative. The department says that the children studying in government schools and rural areas should also benefit from the experience of these teachers.

According to the reports, the aim of this special initiative undertaken by the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education is to guide children. They will be guided right from the matriculation level for better performance in academics as well as preparation for competitive exams. To speed up the efforts regarding this initiative, Dr S Siddharth and Lokesh Kumar Singh have sent a letter to the principals of all government engineering colleges and polytechnic institutes as well as the District Education Officer. Dr S Siddharth is the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department. Lokesh Kumar is the secretary of the Science, Technology and Technical Education Department.

It has been mentioned in the letter that the Pahal initiative should be publicised in all the local schools as well as the neighbouring areas. The initiative aims that more and more students can benefit from it. According to the reports, it has also been said that the District Education Officers and Principals of technical institutions in all the districts should work in mutual coordination. As per the Pahal Mission, a special class of 1 hour will be conducted in engineering colleges and polytechnics. This will comprise students from 8th to 12th from the surrounding areas and schools.

The Secretary of DSTTE (Department of Science and Technology) has instructed all the principals to prepare the roster for the teachers posted in the institute. The secretary has set aside a time of 1 hour before 9 am or after 4 pm. As per the roster, the students will attend classes in Mathematics, Science, Physics, Chemistry and English and will also be given career guidance.
