Bihar School Education Board has announced the State Teachers’ Eligibility Test (STET ) 2019 results on Friday, March 12. Over 1.78 lakh candidates had appeared for the BSEB STET 2019 exam, out of which 15.87 per cent passed the test. A total of 16,068 candidates have qualified BSEB STET paper-I 2019 and 8,531 passed in STET paper-II 2019 exams.
STET 2019 exam was held for 15 subjects, however, results for only 12 subjects have declared. The result for the remaining three subjects — Urdu, Sanskrit, and Science — will be released later. Examinees can check their results at BSEB official website www.bsebstet2019.in by using their registered login credentials.
Here are the steps that should be followed to check the Bihar STET exam result 2019
Step 1: Visit the official website of BSEB STET 2019 at www.bsebstet2019.in
Step 2: Once you go to the homepage, click on the link for the result of STET 2019
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new window requiring the registered login details
Step 4: Enter the Bihar STET 2019 application number and date of birth to log in
Step 5: Bihar STET 2019 result will be displayed on the screen. Download a copy of it and keep it safe.
BSEB conducted the STET 2019 exam on January 28, 2020, however, it got cancelled in May due to a paper leak. Later, an investigation committee was probed into the matter and confirmed the same. BSEB reconducted the STET 2019 paper from September 9 to 21 last year and over 1.7 lakh candidates took the test.
BSEB had conducted the STET 2019 exam after a gap of eight years for the recruitment of 37,000 higher and higher secondary teachers across the state.
