The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE) December 2023 result. Candidates who took the exam can access their FMGE scorecards through the official website at natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in, using their login credentials.
“Result of Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2023 session which was held on 20th January, 2024 has been declared and can be seen at NBEMS websites natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in. Individual scorecard of the candidates who appeared in FMGE-December 2023 session can be downloaded from the website nbe.edu.in/ on/after 13th February, 2024,” reads the official notice.
The FMGE December 2023 exam took place on January 20, 2024. The NBEMS further stated that the results of the candidates whose face ID and/or documents are pending verification and matters which are subjudice have been kept withheld. The schedule for in-person distribution of FMGE-December 2023 session pass certificates will be notified by the board separately.
FMGE December 2023 Result: How to download
Step 1: Open the official website:natboard.edu.in.
Step 2: Click on the FMGE result notification link under the notification section.
Step 3: Select the FMGE December 2023 result option.
Step 4: A PDF file will open on the screen containing the roll number and application ID of the candidates along with the marks they obtained out of 300.
Step 5: Check for your roll number and marks.
Step 6: Download and keep a printout of the file for future reference.
It was a computer-based test, featuring a total of 300 multiple-choice questions. The test is split into two parts, and students have 150 minutes for each part, with a break in between. It’s important to note that there will be no negative marking in the FMGE December 2023 exam. To pass, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 50 per cent.
According to the information bulletin, the candidate must have a primary medical qualification that has been verified by the Indian Embassy to be a recognised qualification for enrolment as a medical practitioner in the country where the institution awarding the said qualification is located.
