The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is set to conclude the registration window for Clerk positions today, July 21, 2024. Interested applicants should verify eligibility, age restriction, selection procedure, and other information on the official website ibps.in before submitting their applications. The IBPS had announced Clerk recruitment for 6,128 positions during the 2025-26 recruitment phase.
The Pre-Examination Training will take place between August 12 and 17, 2024. The preliminary test will take place in August, and call letters are scheduled to be issued in along the same time. The exact dates are still pending confirmation. The IBPS Prelims Exam for Clerks will be mostly objective, featuring parts on English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The test will consist of 100 questions for 100 marks. IBPS Mains Exam 2024 is slated for October and will be administered for for a duration of 160 minutes for 200 mark.
IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for clerk recruitment, candidates must be at least 20 years old and no older than 28 years old on July 1, 2024. A candidate’s birth date must have fallen during July 2, 1996 and July 1, 2004. Other categories, however, have a more liberal maximum age restriction.

Step 1: Visit the official website, ibps.in. Step 2: From the the main menu, click the “Apply Online for Common Recruitment Process under CRP- Clerks -XIV” option.
Step 3: On the linked page, register and fill out the form.
Step 4: Upload all the appropriate paperwork and submit the application fees online.
Step 5: Print a copy of the application form for your records going forward.
IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
Candidates from the SC/ST/PwD categories shall pay Rs.175 as an application fee. General and other category applicants must pay an exam fee of Rs.850.
On the official website, applicants can search for vacancies at participating financial institutions such as Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Indian Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank in every single state and union territory. They should be aware that they can only apply for employment in a single state or union territory.
