ISRO Scientist Recruitment 2024: 19 Vacancies, Eligibility Criteria And Last Date To Apply

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has opened applications for Group A posts of Scientist/Engineer (SC) in various departments at the Space Application Center (SAC), Ahmedabad. There are a total of 19 vacancies, with 8 posts each for Scientist/Engineer positions in Agriculture and Atmospheric Science and Oceanography departments, and 3 posts in the Computer Science Engineering department. For the post of Scientist/Engineer in the Agriculture Department, candidates should hold an M.Sc. degree in Agricultural Physics/Agricultural Meteorology/Agricultural Science from a recognised university or institute. In the Department of Atmospheric Science and Oceanography, candidates must possess an M.Sc. degree in Physics/Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/Oceanography. For Computer Science Engineering, applicants need an engineering degree in Computer Science with a specialisation in Image Processing/Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning/Computer Vision.

Selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500 under the Level 10 pay matrix, along with benefits like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Transport Allowance.

The selection process involves a written examination and interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews based on their performance in the written examination, with a ratio of 1:5 and a minimum of 10 candidates.
