The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at Jamia Millia Islamia has begun admission for a variety of skill-based short-term courses. “These courses are designed to equip participants with practical skills and knowledge in high-demand areas,” states the official press release. Registration for these courses will conclude on August 18.
The courses offered by Jamia Millia Islamia are as follows:
— Basics of Digital Marketing
— Performance Marketing
— Data Science
— AI & ML
— Ethical Hacking
— Cyber Security
— Audio Video Editing
— Basics of Tailoring and Embroidery
— Advanced Tailoring and Embroidery
— Basics of Beautician Training
— Advanced Beautician Training
— Basics of Bakery Training
— Advanced Bakery Training
— Learn UI/UX
To apply for the courses, a minimum of a high school or equivalent is required. Preference may be given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or related disciplines. The courses are usually conducted from Monday to Friday.
Meanwhile, the admission process at JMI for UG courses through CUET UG 2024 scores is underway. Jamia Millia Islamia offers admissions for a total of 15 programmes through CUET. This includes BA (Hons) (Turkish Lang and Literature) (Hons) Sanskrit, BA (Hons) French and Francophone Studies, BA (Hons) Spanish and Latin American Studies, BA (Hons) History, BA (Hons) Hindi, BA (Hons) Urdu, BA (Hons) Korean Language, BA (Hons) Persian, BSc Biotechnology, BVoc (Solar Energy), BSc (Hons) Physics, BSc (Hons) Chemistry, BSc (Hons) Applied Mathematics and BA (Hons) Economics.
On the other hand, Delhi University has extended the deadline to fill the preferences for the college and courses via the Common Seat Allocation System for undergraduate admission (CSAS UG) 2024. The first merit list for DU UG 2024 admissions will be issued on August 16 at 5 PM. The applicants have until August 16 to 18 to accept their seats.
