The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the JoSAA Seat Allocation (Round 5) Final Round today, July 17, 2024. According to the official website, the final seat allocation results for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the NIT+ system have been announced. Candidates who applied for the last round of allotment can view the results on the official website, josaa.nic.in.
This time, the final round of seat allocation results will be released based on the available seats and the selections made by students. Those assigned seats must report to their designated institutions with the necessary documents by July 22, 2024 at 5 PM.
JoSAA Counselling 2024: How to Check Seat Allotment Results
Step 1: Go to the official JoSAA Counselling website at josaa.nic.in.
Step 2: Select the round 5 seat allotment result.
Step 3: Enter your login credentials to log in.
Step 4: The allocation letter and seat allocation result for the final round will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download the allotment result for future reference.
Following the results announcement, candidates must confirm their admission by paying the online fees and uploading the necessary documents between July 17 and July 22. If candidates fail to confirm their seat within the stipulated time, the assigned seat will be cancelled.

–– Letter of Provisional Seat Allocation
–– Grade 10 and 12 certificates along with a proof of birth
–– Identity Card with a photo
–– Three passport-sized pictures
–– Health Certificate
–– Certificate of Category, if applicable
–– PwD Certificate, if needed
–– PIO Card or OCI Certificate (if appropriate)
–– Print copy of completed seat allotment choices
–– Proof of SBI Internet Banking or e-challan fee payment (Rs. 15,000 for SC/ST/PwD applicants and Rs. 35,000 for others) for seat acceptance
After the declaration of the final round of counselling sessions, a few IITs will start classes after August 1, but first-year classes will tentatively begin on July 30.
Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other government-funded technical colleges require JoSAA counselling for admission. First-round seat allocation results were released on June 20. Results for rounds two and three were released on June 27, July 4 and July 10.
