The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar announced the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2024 results on July 12. Those who took the NEST 2024 exam can view their results at nestexam.in, the official website. Applicants should be aware that to view and download their NEST 2024 results, they will need to provide their login information, including their application number or login ID and password. The merit list for the NEST 2024 exam has also been made public by NISER Bhubaneswar on the official website.
NEST 2024: How to Check Result?
Step 1. Visit nestexam.in, the official NEST website.
Step 2. Click the link ‘Result Announcement’ from the homepage.
Step 3. You will be redirected to a new web page.
Step 4. Enter your login information, including your password and application number.
Step 5. The results of NEST 2024 will be shown on the screen.
Step 6. For future reference, keep a hard copy of NEST Results 2024.

This year, the NEST 2024 exam was administered in two shifts on June 30, Sunday, in 129 exam centres (including major towns or cities) across the country. The exam started at 9 am in the first shift, which finished at 12:30 pm, and the second shift was at 2:30 pm, which ended at 6 pm. Candidates had the choice to take the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode exam in Hindi or English as medium for exam.
There were a total of sixty questions in each of the four categories of the NEST 2024 exam, which includes biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics.
The University of Mumbai’s Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) and NISER’s NEST 2024 merit list were created separately.
As per the notification, the top three marks from each of the four sections were considered. The part with the lowest score out of the four was excluded from consideration for creating the merit list. Candidates are required to prove their merits through their login information on the official website.
The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, and the University of Mumbai’s Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM–DAE CEBS), Mumbai, offers a five-year Integrated MSc programme in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. Candidates can get admission to this programme upon qualifying for the computer-based NEST exam successfully.
