Rise In Industrial Units At UP’s Rampur Provide Jobs To Around 7000 Youth

Do you know there are around 7000 youth in Rampur who got employment recently? Rampur, the Uttar Pradesh district, was initially facing a lot of hurdles regarding the employment opportunities. It is now preparing to touch new heights of industrialisation. Numerous individuals, around 7000, have got direct and indirect employment recently in Rampur. The new industrial policy of the Uttar Pradesh government has promoted investment in Rampur in the last two years. Due to this large-scale industrial units, several youths are benefited. In the last 2 years, around 41 small and big units have been completed in Rampur district. Many of them have also started production. The individuals got employment through these units, reducing the problem of unemployment in the district to a greater extent.

The new industrial policy of the Uttar Pradesh government, which was implemented on 20 September 2022, has given a big boost to the industry. Under this policy, many facilities have been provided to the entrepreneurs, which has opened up new investment opportunities for them.

Although 41 industrial units have opened, 51 units are still in the process of being established in the financial year. Balraj Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Industries has claimed that MoU’s were signed for 92 industrial units in Rampur.

Till now, an investment of Rs 928 crore has been made in Rampur, which has provided these employment opportunities to the youths of the district. This investment is an essential step in the industrial development of the district as it is not only providing employment opportunities for the local people, but several units are also being shifted here from the neighbouring districts and also Uttarakhand.

During the month of August, this year, online courses were also being conducted for unemployed youth in Rampur district. The educated unemployed individuals from the other backward classes were also provided free O-level computer training. Even for unemployed youths, online courses were also being conducted, where they can perform the O-level training for one year.
