With several television channels opting for new shows to spice up their fiction programming, &TV too has decided to roll out a new offering. The channel is set to premier a social drama titled Bheema- Andhkar Se Adhikar Tak. Set in the 1980s, the new show depicts the story of a young girl named ‘Bheema’ from an underprivileged community. Produced by Raj Khatri Productions, this social drama highlights the young girl’s predicament and her journey towards equal rights.
Recently, the makers unveiled the first look promo for the show on social media. It offers a glimpse of the young girl’s struggle and the mistreatment she faces in her daily life. The video shows Bheema working at the village landlord’s house.
The teaser video was shared along with a caption that read, “Shiksha ke zariye, kya Bhima samaj mein saman vyavastha laa payegi?
The promo also drops a hint about Bheema’s determination to uphold the ideals of Dr BR Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution. At a tender age, Bheema dedicates herself sincerely to this mission.
The show’s plot revolves around Bheema’s struggle for equal rights in society and the challenges she faces.
The audience will witness Bheema courageously battling difficulties stemming from her family, society, and economic conditions to overcome them.
With child artist Tejashwini Singh leading the cast, Bheema- Andhkar Se Adhikar Tak will feature an ensemble cast including Smita Sable, Neha Sharma, and Amit Bhardwaj, among others.
The show will premiere on August 6 at 8:30 PM. It will air on &TV from Monday to Friday.
Moreover, TellyChakkar in its report mentioned that Kota factory actress Ayushi Jina has also been roped in for the &TV show. Though further details about her character remain under wraps, the media outlet reported that the actress would be essaying a pivotal role in the show.
