CBSE Class 10 Board results have been declared. The next step for students who passed the exam is to enrol into a good school for Class 11. Prominent schools in Patna have released notifications and cut-off criteria for admissions. Some schools will admit students based on merit, while many others will require an entrance exam. Both students and their parents often aim for the well-known and prestigious schools in the city for class 11th admissions. We are listing out some of the prestigious schools of Patna and their admission eligibility criteria.
St Micheal’s High School
Today marks the final day for admissions into the 11th grade at this school. Students with over 90 percent marks are eligible to apply for admission in the Science Faculty, while those with over 80 percent marks can apply for Commerce and Arts faculties. The selection of students will be based on their performance in the admission test, with the list of selected candidates being released accordingly.
BD Public School
BD Public School is accepting admission forms for Class 11 in both online and offline modes until May 20. Students who have scored over 90 percent marks will be granted direct admission to the Science Faculty, while those with over 80 percent marks will be eligible for admission to the Commerce Faculty. An admission test will be conducted for students seeking admission.
Loyola High School
The deadline for filling out the admission form is May 17. The entrance examination is scheduled for May 19, followed by interviews on May 20 and 21. Subsequently, the final list of admitted students will be compiled.
Saint Karen’s High School, Gola Road
The deadline to submit the form is May 24. In the Science stream, students from the school itself with a minimum of 80 percent marks and students from other schools with over 90 percent marks are eligible to apply. For Commerce and Arts, candidates need to have scored at least 70 percent marks within their own school and 80 percent marks from other schools to apply.
DAV BSEB
The admission form for class 11 enrollment can be obtained and filled offline from May 15 to May 22 at DAV BSEB. To secure admission in the Science stream, candidates must have scored over 80% marks, while for Commerce and Arts, a minimum of 75% marks is required. The entrance test is scheduled for May 25, after which the final list of admitted students will be announced.
