India is currently riding on the wave of UP Board results. The state has scored a pass percentage of 89.55 for Class 10 and 82.60 per cent for Class 12. A total of 25,78,007 candidates registered for the UP Board 12 examination out of which 24,52,830 students appeared in the examination. As per reports, a total of 21,027 students had taken the intermediate examination in Jhansi district. Out of which 15,153 students have reportedly passed the examination. Only 72.06 per cent of students of Jhansi district were successful in the intermediate board examination. It has scored lower than the pass percentage of the state.
Hariditya Rajput has topped at the district level in Jhansi. He has scored 474 marks out of 500 securing 94.8 per cent. He is a student of Gyansthali Public School, Shivaji Nagar, Jhansi. The teachers, friends and family congratulated him for securing the highest marks in the district. He was welcomed with a garland of flowers, sweets and cold drinks.
Hariditya originally hails from the Jalaun district. He along with his brother and sisters live in a rented room at Jhansi. Coming from a farmer’s family, he has a younger brother and two elder sisters. While talking to Local18, he shared that he used to self-study for 10 to 12 hours daily.
After school, he used to attend a coaching centre and then continued his studies till late at night at home. He gives credit for his success to his parents and teachers. Living with his brothers and sisters, the siblings shared the household responsibilities. The food was cooked by the elder sister, he added. It is interesting to note that he also topped the Class 10 exam two years ago.
Hariditya Rajput said that his teachers also helped him at every step. His enthusiasm for studies increased after securing the first position in high school across the district. He wanted to maintain his record. He aspired to become an engineer after clearing the JEE exams and securing admission to IIT College. Shubham Verma topped the intermediate exam in the state with 97.8 per cent.
