Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has postponed the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) choice filling 2024. As per the official website, the schedule has been postponed till August 5. After the schedule is released, the UPTAC round 1 choice filling 2024 can be completed by applicants at uptac.admissions.nic.in.
According to the official portal, “UPTAC 2024 B Tech First Year (Excluding Bio Technology & Agriculture), MBA, MCA, MCA Lateral Choice Filling Scheduled to start from 30 July 2024 have been postponed to 5th August 2024 due to unavoidable circumstances. Updated Schedule will be released soon.”
UPTAC Counselling 2024: Choice Filling
Step 1. Candidates must register themselves on the official website uptac.admissions.nic.in.
Step 2. After successful registration, candidates should fill the choice-filling option.
Step 3. Candidates should select the universities according to their preference.
Step 4. Applicants should freeze the allotted seat by paying the seat acceptance fee.
Step 5. After successful completion, candidates can save the form for later use.
UPTAC Counselling 2024: Documents Required
–– Page of confirmation for UPTAC registration 2024.
–– Mark sheet and passing certificate for classes 10 and 12.
–– For candidates in the reserved categories (OBC, SC, and ST), a category certificate, if applicable.
–– Certificate of Residence.
–– Certificate of Character.
–– Migration Certificates or Transfer Certificates (TC).
–– Certificate of Medical Fitness.
–– If a candidate is requesting a fee reduction, they must provide an income certificate.
–– Identity documents, PAN card, or Aadhaar card.
–– Current passport-sized photos.
The new schedule will shortly be made public by the exam authority. The UPTAC seat allocation result will be announced by AKTU according to the merit and preference of each candidate. For admissions purposes, candidates must review the seat matrix and participating UPTAC institutes before selecting a college and course.
Once the choice-filling procedure starts, candidates must submit their preferred courses and colleges according to their preferences. They will also have the option for an upgrade in later rounds, or to freeze the allotment and enrol in the designated college.
