UPUMS M.Pharm Admissions 2024: A total of 24 seats are offered across the 4 specialisations to students based on GPAT scores

The Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS) has invited online applications for its postgraduate programs in the Faculty of Pharmacy for the academic session 2024-25. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can visit the official website of the university at upums.ac.in and register for the courses by downloading the brochure and application form.

It is to be noted that the completed application form along with a demand draft and required documents should be sent via speed post to the Office of OREE, Room No. 333, Second Floor, Administrative Block, UPUMS, Saifai, Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, Pin-206130, by August 31, 2024.

The M.Pharm programme shall extend over four semesters (two academic years), with the curriculum and syllabus for the programme set by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. The total fee applicable to the M. Pharmacy programme will be Rs 58,850, including hostel accommodation, in the first year at the time of admission.

Furthermore, a total of 24 seats are offered across the following specialisations to students based on GPAT scores:

M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry – 6 seats

Pharm. in Pharmaceutics – 6 seats

Pharm. in Pharmacognosy – 6 seats

M.Pharm. in Pharmacology – 6 seats

UPUMS M.Pharm Admissions 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a B.Pharm. degree from an Indian university established by law in India and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, with not less than 55 per cent across all four years.

In addition to that, students selected for admission to the postgraduate pharmacy programme in any PCI-approved institution should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within six months from the date of his/her admission. If a candidate fails to do so, this will result in the cancellation of their admission.

Migration Certificate: It is mandatory to submit a migration certificate obtained from the respective university where the candidate had passed his/her qualifying degree (B.Pharm.).

UPUMS M.Pharm Admissions 2024: Application Fee

Candidates falling under the UR (Unreserved), OBC (Other Backward Class), and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 3,000, whereas Rs 2,000 is applicable for SC (Scheduled Caste) and ST (Scheduled Tribe) candidates.
