After a forgettable Indian Super League 2023/24 campaign, Chennaiyin FC now have their eyes set on the Durand Cup 2024. They are set to take on Indian Army FT on Wednesday. The two-time ISL champions finished sixth in the league with eight victories in 22 matches. Chennaiyin last competed in April where they conceded a 1-2 loss to FC Goa. The match began with Noah Sadaoui giving Goa the lead before Lazar Cirkovic equalised for Chennai in the first half. Brandon Fernandes scored FC Goa’s second in the opening moments of the next half. Chennaiyin will now be looking to make a comeback in the upcoming Durand Cup.
