Manchester: With David Moyes officially assuming office at Old Trafford on Monday, the new Manchester United boss has put Benfica's Ezequiel Garay on top of his acquisition list for this transfer season, according to Daily Mirror.
According to the newspaper, Moyes has been given a go-ahead for the defender, who he admires, with a purse of £17 million to offer.
It has also been speculated that Garay's Portuguese employers are looking to replace him with Argentine Lisandro Ezequiel Lopez from Arsenal de Sarandi, which could facilitate Garay's move to Old Trafford.
