Hull stun Arsenal with 2-1 win at the EPL
Hull's Geovanni scored the winning goal in the 61st minute of the game.

London: Newly promoted Hull pulled off a surprise 2-1 victory over Arsenal on Saturday night.

Arsenal were first to get on the board with Cesc Fabregas scoring in the 47th minute for the home side.

Hull however equalised in the 61st minute with a sensational 25-yard strike from Brazilian Geovanni 1-1.

Danile Cousin stepped up the game for the visitors and put them in front when he headed Andy Dawson's corner into the top right corner of the net.

The win places Hull at the 6th spot in the EPL standings.

Another side newly promoted into the premiere league Stoke, too were in action on Saturday night.

They however lost 2-0 to Chelsea. Jose Bosingwa scored the first goal for the visitors when he netted this Frank Lampard pass after it deflected off Danny Griffin. Nicolas Anelka scored the second after this terrible blunder by Cort. The win places Chelsea on top of the league standings.

Liverpool travelled to Everton for their league match. After a relatively slow first half, striker Fernando Torres stepped up and slid home a Robbie Keane cross in the 59th minute to give the visitors the lead.

He then came back 3 minutes later to convert this opportunity and make it 2-0 for Rafa Benitez's men. This victory gives Liverpool their best start yet to a Premier League season.

Manchester United's home match against Bolton, star striker Christiano Ronaldo found himself in the middle of another controversy, when he was awarded a penalty by referee Rob Styles for this Jlloyd Samuel tackle.

He however did convert, making it 1-0 for Man U. Substitute Wayne Rooney ensured the victory when he scored the second goal for the home side.

The victory is only the second for Man U this season in the Premiere League.
