4th quarter: A lot of Indian shirts can been seen behind the half-line. Intent on defending their lead, but must not lose out on attacking opportunities.
4th quarter: Critical last 15 minutes. India had conceded in dying moments of the last two matches to draw and lose. Can they win today?
End of 3rd quarter: India have restored their lead at the breather. Rupinder scored in the 42nd min to take India 2-1 ahead. The hosts must win to draw the three-match series.
3rd quarter: GOAL!!! PC to India and Rupinder scores. It's 2-1 to India. It's also the 50th goal for the Indian defender.
3rd quarter: India's pace has died a bit in the last couple of minutes. Australia won't mind that as we enter last five minutes of the quarter. 1-1
3rd quarter: GOAL! AUSTRALIA EQUALISE THROUGH Trent Mitton in the 36th minute through a field effort. It's 1-1 now.

2nd quarter: A strong end to the second quarter by India, as they kept Australia under the pump for last five minutes. So 1-0 to India at half-time through Raghunath's 16th-min strike.
2nd quarter: India holding onto their slim 1-0 lead as they press from the left this time. Just over two minutes left to half-time. Meanwhile Devindar Walmiki has a cut on his lower lip, which according to his gesture came off an Aussie elbow.
2nd quarter: Desperate defending by the Indians, at the end of which they manage to prevent the Aussies from taking at least three shots at goal. 1-0 to India.
2nd quarter: Australia have had 12 circle penetrations to India's 6 so far. But it's the hosts who lead 1-0. Six minutes left to half-time.
2nd quarter: India looking more confident now with their possession as Australia chase India's 1-0 lead.
2nd quarter: India playing with a lot of purpose now. Superb cross by Dharamvir from the right but Ramandeep was neatly blocked by Aussie goalkeeper. 1-0 to India.
2nd Quarter: PC for India in the first minute of the quarter. And GOAL! Raghunath puts India ahead 1-0.
2nd Quarter: Brilliant interception by Akash to start the second quarter, but Indian forwards fail to capitalise on his pass.
End of First Quarter: India 0 - 0 Australia
1st Quarter: PC No.2 for Australia. Just over a minute left in first quarter. But a superb goal-line save by an India defencer.
1st Quarter: Into the last five minutes of the first quarter and India have their best chance as Akash sends in a cross from the right but Sunil fails to collect it inside the circle. 0-0
1st Quarter: Raghunath hasn't started today for India. That will be a test for the defence. Still 0-0 as Australia press from the left but India clear the ball.
1st Quarter: Four minutes into the game, and India searching for their first meaningful attack, while the Aussies have already threatened at least twice. 0-0
1st Quarter: India living dangerous there as sloppy defence concedes a penalty corner in the first minute, but Cirello shoots wide. 0-0
1st Quarter: And we are underway in Raipur with Australia taking the first touch.
A huge cheer follows the conclusion of India's National Anthem, and we are almost ready for action now.
6:30 pm The teams are being introduced to the chief guest, which will be followed by the National Anthems.
6:25 pm: The attendance at the 3000-capacity stadium has been tremendous with the stands packed to the rafters and cheering their team full throttle. But they would want their team to win today after squandering a win each of the two previous games.
6:20 pm: Australia are leading the three-match series 1-0 after a 2-2 draw in the first game at Rajnandgaon and a come-from behind 2-1 win in the second at Raipur's Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel International Stadium.
That leaves India with a chance just to draw the series by winning the game today, but Australians will come hard at the hosts knowing that they will be under pressure to win in front of the Raipur fans who are witnessing first international hockey series on their land.
