Bradley Cooper might be an actor who takes his work seriously. But, his fatherly duties always come first. On Thursday afternoon, December 21, the Hollywood star attended a press conference in New York for his recently released film Maestro. Twenty minutes into the session, he got a call from his daughter Lea De Seine’s school. No sooner than he got on that call, The Hangover actor rushed out of the press conference to visit his daughter’s educational center and have a talk with the six-year-old’s school nurse. Although Cooper did not mention the reason for his urgency, he apologised to the conference members for his abrupt exit.
According to a report by Daily Mail, Bradley Cooper was attending the press conference to promote Maestro, a romantic musical directed by Cooper himself. In between the conversation, when he got a call from Lea’s school the actor addressed the members and said, “So sorry. The school nurse just called me. Can I just leave the room for a second to call them back and you can keep going? Is that all right?”

After the call when Bradley Cooper came back the caring father explained that he needed to rush to his daughter’s school urgently as he needed “to do something with Lea that needs”. “I have to apply something that they won’t allow…. I have to do it, so it’s like a 10-minute walk,” he added.

Bradley Cooper and his lovely bond with Lea, whom he shares with his former partner Russian supermodel Irina Shayk is not a secret. He has joint custody of his daughter with Shayk, whom he dated from 2015 to 2019. Cooper and Lea have been spotted on various occasions together. Earlier, the father and daughter walked the red carpet at the premiere of Maestro. While the 48-year-old was dressed in a black suit, little Lea was decked up adorably in an animal-printed dress.
On December 15, Bradley Cooper was papped exhibiting his fatherly responsibilities in New York. Out on a casual stroll with Lea, the Silver Linings Playbook actor was seen wearing a black puffer jacket and grey pants, sipping on a cup of coffee. Lea walked beside her dad in a white top and blue pants.
Speaking of Maestro, the film revolves around the love story between conductor-composer Leonard Bernstein and Felicia Montealegre. The film was released on Netflix on September 2.
