Go to Yahoo Mail and sign in. You can use any web browser on your computer to visit the site. Click the Sign in link in the top right corner of the page if you aren't automatically signed in. You can't use the mobile app to add hyperlinks to your text, so you need to use a computer.
Compose a new email. Click the “Compose” button near the top left side of the page to start writing a new email.
Enter the recipients and subject. Add the recipients in the To field at the top of the message window. You can add multiple recipients by separating the email address with a comma. In the Subject line, add a little something about the email.
Start composing your email. You can type your message in the large blank area on the screen below the Subject line. If you aren't sure how to proceed, here are some tips for writing an email.
Select words to hyperlink. Limit the hyperlink to only a word or phrase as much as possible. Do not hyperlink the whole message. Highlight the text to hyperlink. To quickly select a word, double-click it. It'll be highlighted in blue.
Insert the hyperlink. While the selected text is highlighted, click the clip or link icon on the bottom toolbar. This will bring up the “Link Options” window.
Type in the address or URL you’re embedding. This can be a link to something in your Google Drive or other cloud storage, a shared link on Facebook, Instagram, or a TikTok, any web page, document, or file.
Click Save. Your hyperlink will appear in your email as blue, underlined text. Clicking anywhere within this hyperlink will direct the user to the location embedded in it. You can verify if you’ve correctly typed in the address or URL since Yahoo will automatically add an image to your email for that link. If you don't like the added thumbnail, click the three-dot menu in the top right corner and select Remove. You can also opt to make the thumbnail smaller, larger, or move it to the bottom.
Send your email. You may continue writing your message, and once done, click the “Send” button at the bottom of the page to send your email with the hyperlink.
