A school staffer along with multiple students sustained minor injuries on Monday when their bus crashed into a tree in Pune’s Wagholi area.
The high-speed bus was packed with students from Rising Star School when the accident took place at 3 PM, reported NDTV.
According to police, the steering of the bus got jammed and the vehicle went off the road and collided with the tree, prompting panicked shouts from students.

The viral CCTV footage captured that the windshield of the bus came off as it rammed and toppled a parked bike, while the driver of the bike ran to save his life.
Locals reached out to rescue the students who received treatment at a hospital.
Upon being informed about the accident, parents of the students and family members of the injured staffer reached the place.
According to Free Press Journal, parents have filed a complaint at Lonikand police station alleging a lack of Regional Transport Office (RTO) control over the bus. The complaint has prompted an investigation by the Lonikand police.
