Skype is a free instant messaging and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) voice and video-calling application that allows users to place calls over the internet without the need of a traditional landline or phone plan. Skype users can communicate with one another completely free, while placing calls to traditional landlines and mobile devices will require you to purchase Skype credits. This article will teach you how to change the email address associated with your Skype account.
Go to your Skype account page.
Go to https://go.skype.com/myaccount in a web browser. If you're not already signed in, enter your login details to sign in now.
Click the "Edit profile" tab.
You'll see Edit profile on the left side of the homepage. This opens your profile details.
Scroll down and click the "Edit profile" button.
This button is under the "Contact details" header. Now you'll be able to edit all of your contact details, including your email address.
Enter a new email address and click "Save."
If you want to have multiple email addresses, you can click Add email address first to add another. Then, you can make either of your addresses primary. Otherwise, simply replace the current email address with your new one before saving.
