Navigate to the YouTube video you want to watch in a web browser. This quick method will remove the suggested video sidebar from YouTube videos on any web browser, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
Type "-" between "u" and "t" in the address bar. Just type a single dash between the "u" and "t" in youtube the URL in the address bar. For example, "https://www.yout-ube.com/watch?v=a8yRwxsOVG4."
Press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return on your keyboard. Once you do, the video will enlarge to cover your entire browser window, getting rid of the recommended videos and ads in the sidebar. Alternatively, type "_popup" between "watch" and "?" in the link, so it looks like this: "https://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=a8yRwxsOVG4" If you'd rather get an extension or add-on for your browser, you can try Unhook, which is available for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. It's very highly rated and has great reviews.
