This gin-based cocktail is London sophistication in a glass!
Use the lemon slice and rub it around the rim of the martini glass.
Dip the rim in a plate of sugar. Make sure that it's completely covered.
Measure and pour the gin, lemon juice, maraschino liqueur, and sugar gomme into the mixing glass.
Fill the rest of the mixing glass with ice cubes.
Slam the cocktail shaker on the top of the mixing glass. Hold and secure both parts and shake well.
Tap the side of the shaker to loosen the two halves.
Strain the cocktail into the martini glass.
Finished.
