This wikiHow teaches you how to subscribe to a subreddit on the official Reddit app for iPhone and iPad. A subreddit is a forum on Reddit dedicated to a specific topic or community. Posts from the subreddits you are subscribed to will appear on the front page of Reddit whenever you are signed in.

Steps

Open the Reddit app. It's the orange app with a white cartoon alien in the center. If you don't have the Reddit app you can download it from the App Store and sign in with your Reddit username and password.

Tap Android 7 Search. It's the magnifying icon at the bottom of the screen. This opens the search page.

Search for the name of a subreddit or a topic. Tap the search bar at the top and type a topic of interest or the name of the subreddit you want to subscribe to.

Tap a subreddit. In the "Communities" tab, tap the name of the subreddit you want to subscribe to. All subreddits start with "r/" in the title. This takes you to the subreddit's main page.

Tap Subscribe. It's across from the subreddit name near the top of the page. This subscribes you to the subreddit. Posts from this subreddit will now show up in your Reddit feed.
